According to But! France, West Ham are ‘very interested’ in Stade Rennais winger Martin Terrier.
But! France’s report states that West Ham noticed Terrier while scouting his former teammate Nayef Aguerd, who signed for the Hammers earlier in the window.

The 25-year-old winger has previously been linked with Leeds and Tottenham this summer, with Rennes quoting £34m to secure the Frenchman’s signature.
However, Leeds have already brought in Colombian international Luis Sinisterra to fill the left-wing role in their squad, while Tottenham have splashed out on Richarlison, boosting West Ham’s chances of signing Terrier.
The Hammers have already made three signings this summer, but have yet to bolster their attacking options, although they have been linked with Gianluca Scamacca and Armando Broja.
Terrier ticks all of West Ham’s boxes
Michail Antonio was West Ham’s starting centre forward last season, however many of their goals came from midfield, with Jarrod Bowen finishing as the club’s top scorer in all competitions.

Terrier would be more than capable of adding more goals from behind the striker, after finishing the season as Ligue 1 third top scorer with 21 goals.
Although Terrier is technically a winger, he prefers to start on the left and cut inside rather than stick to the wing and deliver crosses, and would offer an alternative option to Saïd Behramha who operates as a more traditional winger in David Moyes’ system.
