Newcastle United target Anthony Gordon stunned his Everton teammates with just how quick he was in the early stages of his time with the Toffees first-team, according to a report from The Athletic.
Gordon is one player who could still make a big-money move this summer. The 21-year-old is attracting plenty of attention after a superb breakout campaign at Goodison Park.

The forward played a key role in guiding Everton to safety. Only Richarlison and perhaps Jordan Pickford did more to keep the club in the Premier League last year.
Reports have claimed that Tottenham made a £100 million bid for both Gordon and Richarlison. Meanwhile, Chelsea have also made their move to sign the youngster in the last few days.

Newcastle have also made a bid for Gordon in this window.
Everton value Gordon at £50 million. And for some, that may seem incredibly steep given how little he has actually played at the highest level. But Gordon is used to surprising people, it seems.
According to The Athletic, the Everton players were left stunned by Gordon after his promotion to the first-team. Many could no believe just how quick he was.
Gordon stunned his Everton teammates
It is Chelsea who seemingly lead the charge for Gordon. But it will be interesting to see whether their interest sparks any of his other admirers into life in the final stages of the window.
Tottenham appear to have done most of their business in this window. But if they were ready to offer £100 million for him and Richarlison, they may perhaps be desperate to prevent him from heading to Stamford Bridge.
Newcastle certainly need to sign at least one more attacking player this summer, having only strengthened their defence so far.
And reports this week claimed that Pep Guardiola is a fan of Gordon, too. So perhaps Manchester City may be one side to keep an eye on should the ‘sensational‘ youngster remain at Everton beyond this window.
