Reported Tottenham Hotspur target Gleison Bremer will leave Torino this summer, that’s according to his manager Ivan Juric.

The Brazilian has been incredible for the Turin-based side this season. He has been one of the best defenders in the Italian top flight, and a number of top clubs have been linked with his services.

The likes of Arsenal and Liverpool were reportedly keen, but it’s Spurs who have been linked with a move for Bremer ever since Antonio Conte was appointed as the manager back in November last year.

Manager thinks Tottenham-linked Gleison Bremer will leave Torino

After a disastrous campaign in the Serie A last season, Torino have done well this term. They are currently 10th in the league table and if results go their way on the final day of the season, they could finish as high as ninth.

The sad thing for fans of the Turin club is that they’re set to lose a couple of their star players. Andrea Belotti is one of them, but the one that’ll hurt the most is Bremer, who has arguably been Torino’s best player this season.

Juric was asked about the centre-half by Sport Mediaset this week and the Torino boss claimed: “I think Bremer will go away!”

It looks like club president Urbano Cairo is also of the same assumption. He revealed that “there is a lot of interest from abroad” in the talented 25-year-old defender.

Tottenham are primarily looking for a left-sided centre-half to slot in where Ben Davies is currently playing. The Welshman has been magnificent recently, but Conte reportedly wants an upgrade in that position.

Transfermarkt reveals that Bremer is right-footed, but the Torino star, who has donned the captain’s armband on nine occasions this season, has mostly featured on the left side of a back-three.

That’s probably why Conte is so keen on Bremer, and we must say, he would be a truly sensational signing for Tottenham.

Branded as ‘incredible’ by Fabrizio Romano, Bremer will enter the final two years of his contract this summer, which may make him available for a fee that’s slightly below his actual transfer value.
