Tottenham Hotspur are preparing a £41.6 million bid to sign both Gleison Bremer and Wilfried Singo from Torino, according to a report from Tuttosport in Italy.

The links with the two players may not come as a big surprise to Spurs fans. Tottenham’s two signings during the January transfer window came from Serie A. And it is clear that Fabio Paratici is not against using his contacts in Italy in the market.

Reports recently claimed that Tottenham were sending scouts to watch Bremer and Singo in action for Torino. And it would appear that they were indeed impressed with what they saw.

Tuttosport is now reporting that Tottenham are prepared to offer £41.6 million to sign both players. And they are convinced that they can get a deal done.

They believe that offering the money up front will give them an advantage over the Italian sides also keen on the players.

Signing Bremer and Singo would be superb pieces of business from Tottenham

Bremer is arguably one of the most exciting centre-backs playing in Europe right now. He is both strong and deceptively quick, and has been described as ‘incredible‘. And at 25, he should have the best years of his career in front of him.

Meanwhile, Singo could be perfect for the right wing-back role in Conte’s system. He is solid defensively. But he loves to get forward and contribute in attack.

It would be a real coup for Tottenham if they could now get a deal done for the pair. It would address two potential issues for the summer in one piece of business.

And given how the others who have arrived from Serie A have fared at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, it is hard to see Bremer and Singo not thriving should they link up with Conte.
