Report: Tottenham winning the race to sign ‘incredible’ £33m talent who has same agent as Trippier

Tottenham Hotspur are already making plans for the summer it seems and are said to be winning the race to sign Torino defender, Gleison Bremer.

That’s according to TuttoJuve anyway, who claims that Tottenham are the most ‘dominant’ presence in the scramble to try and sign Bremer from Torino this summer. The Brazilian is already known on English shores, with Newcastle said to have had a £25m bid rejected for him in January.

Interestingly for Tottenham, Bremer shares an agent with one of their former players, Kieran Trippier, according to Transfermarkt. Given the links there, Spurs might be confident of facilitating a deal quicker.

Torino are thought to value Bremer in and around the £33m mark. Tottenham, meanwhile, are expected to back Antonio Conte in the summer as they look to give the Italian all the tools he needs to succeed.

Respected Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano had recently called Bremer ‘incredible’ and it was only a few weeks back that the Torino man completely nullified Dusan Vlahovic too.

Now there is a thought for Spurs fans. Pairing two of Serie A’s top defenders together might be a big recipe for success under Conte.

Romero has been outstanding already and Bremer looks every bit the quality partner. Even at over £30m, you’d have to say Bremer appears to be a bargain buy, such is his talent and potential.

This summer is a huge one for Tottenham. But if they can start buy landing a player like Gleison Bremer, then Conte will be delighted.
