Chelsea just recorded back-to-back wins against Benfica and Liverpool, but that momentum will now be halted as the next international break begins.
Enzo Maresca’s squad will be dispersed around the world as they play for their nations, as they get the chance to represent their countries.
Of course, many players will not be heading out on international duty this time around due to the club’s growing injury list.
Reece James was the latest to be added to that list, as he has withdrawn from Thomas Tuchel’s England squad for this upcoming break. However, a significant number of players will still be representing Chelsea on the international stage.
Here’s a look at every Chelsea player featuring in the October international break.

Argentina – Enzo Fernandez
Enzo Fernandez is a consistent member of Maresca’s Chelsea line-ups, so it is no surprise to see him called up for international duty.
The midfielder was suspended for the previous international break, so he wasn’t involved. But he has been brought straight back into the setup this time as he aims to continue his strong start to the season.

Brazil – Estevao Willian
Fresh from scoring Chelsea’s winner against Liverpool, Estevao Willian will be representing Brazil on international duty. The teenager is having an unbelievable maiden season at Stamford Bridge, and former Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti has heaped praise on him.
Estevao scored his first Brazil goal during the previous international break, so these games will be seen as an opportunity to continue that momentum.

Denmark – Filip Jorgensen
Filip Jorgensen has not had much game time because Robert Sanchez is Chelsea’s first-choice goalkeeper. However, that hasn’t stopped him from being called up to play for Denmark.
Jorgensen didn’t cover himself in glory against Lincoln City, but the fact that he’s still being selected proved that he’s a trusted figure on the international stage.

France – Malo Gusto
Malo Gusto has been a regular on the team this season, being Maresca’s first-choice defender even when James is available.
The Frenchman has been asked to do different things this season, such as coming inside and providing more attacking width for the Blues, which has been worked on as of late.
He is still relatively new to international football, as he gained his fourth and fifth caps for France in September. But his strong form at Chelsea is evidently having an impact.

Portugal – Pedro Neto
Pedro Neto is a key man for both club and country at this stage in his career, seen as a reliable source out wide for goals and assists.
Neto has only scored one goal this season, though, and has no assists to his name, which he will look to change immediately.

Spain – Marc Cucurella
Marc Cucurella is Chelsea’s first-choice left-back, and that has become the case for Spain as well. He’s a regular feature for both teams, and his confidence only seems to be growing.
He assisted Estevao’s goal against Liverpool, showcasing his attacking quality alongside his defensive duties.

England Under-21s – Tyrique George, Jamie Gittens, and Josh Acheampong
Chelsea might not have any players involved for England’s first team this time around due to James and Cole Palmer’s injuries, but a trio of young Blues will be part of England’s Under-21s squad.
Summer signing Jamie Gittens is going to be involved in the squad, while Tyrique George and Josh Acheampong have both been called up. However, there will be question marks over the latter after he was injured against Liverpool.
George has been given a lot of game time this season under Maresca due to Liam Delap’s injury, while Acheampong has also made the most of injuries to thrive for Chelsea.

Spain Under-21s – Marc Guiu
Marc Guiu has had an interesting season so far, having initially been sent out on loan at Sunderland, only to be recalled by Chelsea after Delap’s injury.
While he scored for the Black Cats, he has only made a cameo appearance for the Blues during the 2-1 win against Liverpool. Despite that, he has been called up for Spain’s Under-21s, which will present him a chance to get some minutes.
