Tottenham Hotspur are currently on their pre-season tour of South Korea, fine-tuning ahead of the 2022-23 season.

So far, Spurs have played one friendly, running out 6-3 winners over Team K-League in Seoul on Wednesday.

Up next for Tottenham is the meeting with La Liga side Sevilla in Suwon on Saturday.

On Friday, the Spurs media team shared footage of their open training session at the Mokdong Stadium.

This gave local fans the chance to meet and greet their heroes, with plenty of photos taken and merchandise signed.

At the same time, the Tottenham players were training hard, eager to get up to speed ahead of a crucial campaign.

And one moment in the video shows just how seriously one Spurs star has been taking it.

At 2 minutes in, Matt Doherty is filmed having a light-hearted exchange with Eric Dier.

“Mate, don’t be nasty,” Doherty told Dier. “You’ve been nothing but nasty for the last week!”

The England international responded with laughter and the two went on their way.

It’s great to hear – you need a bit of nastiness in training, just as you do on the pitch.

Dier’s efforts in training have certainly shown on the pitch, as he delivered an impressive display on Wednesday.

Admittedly, the first-half captain did lose his man for Team K-League’s first goal.

But overall, Dier’s defending was assured and he led the line well.

And of course, the £4million man did score a superb goal – and on his weaker foot.

His efforts led to praise from Son Heung-min, Erik Lamela and opposition head coach Kim Sang-sik.
