Former Celtic midfielder, Massimo Donati, has warned Lazio to be prepared for tonight’s Champions League showdown with his old club.
Donati was speaking to the Italian media about the upcoming clash when he warned the Serie A side about a player in Brendan Rodgers‘ side who has tremendous pace.
Donati said [Gazzetta], “Celtic? A lot of pressure and a high pace. Lazio, watch out for [Kyogo] Furuhashi.
“He moves a lot, he’s very quick and he even scored in the first leg “
The Japanese striker has been lauded recently for not just his pace. His finishing is also brilliant and his movement is sometimes ghost-like.
62 goals since joining Celtic two summers ago is an incredible haul and it is largely down to how defenders find it almost impossible to keep up with him.
Finding his goalscoring boots in the Champions League this season, Kyogo will be crucial to Celtic if they are looking to pick up any kind of result to keep them in Europe after Christmas.
Goals against Atletico Madrid and Lazio have earmarked Kyogo as one of Celtic’s dangermen in the competition but, in truth, there is so much more to Brendan Rodgers’ side than the £4.6m former Vissel Kobe man.

Matt O’Riley has been enjoying some excellent form in the group stages as has Cameron Carter-Vickers. Liam Scales is another who has shone in the competition and, if need be, Paulo Bernardo is another player who can cause Lazio problems.
So whilst Lazio should be wary of the Japanese striker, there are a number of players in this Celtic side they also need to watch out for and these players will be pivotal in helping secure a positive result tonight.
