Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with a move for Udinese defender Destiny Udogie, but his agents have now been spotted entering the offices of Inter Milan.

Spurs mean business in this summer’s transfer window. They’ve already signed Ivan Perisic from Inter and Fraser Forster from Southampton on free transfers, but they’re nowhere near done.

Reports revealed today that Tottenham have agreed a deal to sign Yves Bissouma from Brighton and Hove Albion, while Antonio Conte’s pursuit of Alessandro Bastoni hasn’t been a secret at all. Everton star Richarlison is also reportedly of interest to Spurs, which makes it five potential new signings already.

Tottenham, however, are still said to be looking for more, and Udogie is reportedly one player they’re really keen to sign.

Agents of Destiny Udogie spotted at Inter Milan after Tottenham talks

Earlier today, we reported that Tottenham chief Fabio Paratici held a meeting with Udogie’s agents about a summer move. The defender’s representatives reportedly met the Spurs director in London to discuss a potential transfer.

However, Spurs aren’t the only club Udogie and his camp are in talks with.

CalcioMercato revealed today that Italian giants Inter Milan are also interested in signing the youngster this summer. The Nerazzurri have reportedly been tracking him for months, and they’re now intensifying their interest.

A video uploaded by the outlet shows Udogie’s agents walking into Inter Milan’s headquarters this morning, possibly to discuss a move this summer – just like they reportedly did with Paratici in London.

Spurs want to sign Udogie and then loan him out

Tottenham already had Ryan Sessegnon and Sergio Reguilon to play at left wing-back, and they now have Ivan Perisic as well. Ben Davies can also play there, which makes another player in that position unnecessary this summer.

However, Spurs aren’t trying to sign Udogie for next season, he’s being viewed as one for the future. The 19-year-old has immense potential and has already been hailed as ‘extraordinary’ by his manager Gabriele Cioffi.

The report claims that Tottenham want to sign him this summer and then immediately loan him out – just like they did with another talented young player in Pape Matar Sarr last year.

It will be interesting to see how this pans out. Paratici certainly seems keen but so do Inter Milan. It won’t be easy for Spurs to get a deal over the line, especially if the Nerazzurri, unlike Conte and co, promise to keep Udogie at the club instead of loaning him out next season.
