Gordon has been the subject of plenty of interest from Premier League clubs this season.
The 21-year-old winger has been on Newcastle’s radar this summer.
And according to Sky’s report Chelsea have already had a bid of around £45m rejected by Everton.
Tottenham hold a firm interest in Everton’s number ten, and Sky Sports provided this update: “Breaking news into us this morning and it regards Chelsea and Everton.
“Chelsea have said they’re now prepared to pay up to £60m for Everton forward Anthony Gordon.
“Now Everton’s position this summer has been very much that the player is not for sale.

“And that £60m is the total value of the potential deal including any add-ons.
“Everton have previously rejected a bid of between £40-45m from Chelsea for Anthony Gordon.”
Chelsea prepare bid for Tottenham target Gordon
Gordon has been described as ‘really special’ by former West Ham striker Dean Ashton, and could now be on the move from Goodison Park.
Anthony Gordon’s work-rate off the ball would make him an ideal wide player for Antonio Conte.

The Italian already has plenty of options in these areas, but Spurs are struggling with the homegrown numbers in their squad.
Gordon would improve these numbers, and being only 21 years old has plenty of time ahead of him to continue improving.
The winger has only scored four goals and registered three assists in his senior career so far, but plenty of teams clearly see potential in Gordon, and Tottenham will now have to consider whether they want to match what Chelsea are preparing to bid.
