Ryan Kent knows Leeds want him this summer - journalist
Ryan Kent knows Leeds want him, with Dean Jones telling Give Me Sport that the Rangers star is looking to leave Ibrox this summer.
Kent has been absolutely superb for the Gers this season. Of course, the highlight of his campaign is still to come with Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s men reaching the Europa League final.
He has actually only scored three goals in all competitions, which he will be hugely disappointed with. But he has been outstanding at creating goals for his Rangers teammates. He has 19 assists in all competitions.
Of course, Leeds are used to seeing their side linked with Kent. He seemed to be a player Marcelo Bielsa was very keen on during his time at Elland Road.
Much will depend on the transfer front on what division Leeds find themselves in next year. Certainly, any hope of signing Kent will surely be dashed if they fall into the Championship.
But they have received a boost, with Jones suggesting that Kent is ready to leave Rangers in the summer.
“I’m told Ryan Kent will still look to leave this summer as he wants to play in the Premier League. Rangers are ready to make him a new contract offer, but it sounds like he fancies a move, and he knows clubs like Leeds and Everton are keen,” he told Give Me Sport.

Signing Kent would surprise some Leeds fans. They are currently well-stocked for wide options. And the former Liverpool youngster can be frustrating at times.
Perhaps Leeds may finally get their hands on their man in the coming window – provided that they get themselves out of danger.
