Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Nordi Mukiele as Antonio Conte targets strengthening the right wing-back position in his squad, according to a report from the Sunday Mirror (29/5; page 76).

However, reports have suggested that Emerson could still leave Tottenham this summer. And Doherty’s future is not entirely certain either.
Spurs are reportedly favourites to sign Djed Spence this summer. But they also have their eye on other options.

And according to a report from the Sunday Mirror (29/5; page 76), Tottenham are monitoring Mukiele.
The RB Leipzig star has had a mixed campaign. But he did make his debut for France last September. And his form has seen the Bundesliga side forced into a u-turn over his future.
It had been claimed that his club were not planning to extend his contract which expires in 2023. And they were prepared to consider offers of just £8.5 million. However, they are now reportedly hoping to open talks over a new deal.
Tottenham interested in Nordi Mukiele
Mukiele would have the potential to be a superb signing for Tottenham – particularly if his asking price is indeed as low as £8.5 million.
He is a brilliant defender, and capable of also playing in middle of the backline. But he also offers a lot going forward – something that Emerson has struggled with since arriving in the Premier League.
Reports in January suggested that Arsenal had their eye on the former Montpellier man. But perhaps it could now be Tottenham who offer him the chance to move to North London in the coming months.
