Newcastle United are planning to offer Tottenham Hotspur the chance to double their money on Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, with the Daily Mirror reporting that the Magpies are planning to make a £30 million bid for the midfielder.
Hojbjerg has been a stalwart throughout his time in North London. He has proved to be a very good signing following his £15 million move from Southampton.

The Dane was arguably a shining light in a difficult campaign last season. And he has continued to play an important role for Spurs this term.
However, it does appear that Hojbjerg has his critics. His form has dipped at times, and there is said to be excitement about the prospect of Oliver Skipp and Rodrigo Bentancur playing together in the middle of the park.

Meanwhile, reports claimed that he annoyed some teammates by his desire to be the first into training on Antonio Conte’s first day at the helm.
So it will interest many that Spurs are reportedly set to receive a considerable offer for the 26-year-old this summer.
The Daily Mirror reports that Newcastle are set to make a £30 million bid for Hojbjerg. Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho is keen to take him to Roma.
Tottenham face tough decision as Newcastle plot Hojbjerg bid
The idea that Newcastle could bid for Hojbjerg may divide some Tottenham fans. Clearly, there are likely to be plenty who would suggest cashing in.
However, others may feel that he is needed. And actually, £30 million is not a lot of money considering that he would need to be replaced.
He is capable of ‘incredible‘ performances. And he does appear to be something of a leader in the Tottenham dressing room.
So it is certainly difficult to call whether selling him to Newcastle would be a smart move or not.
