Report: Lacazette trying to convince Arsenal-linked Tolisso over Lyon move
Alexandre Lacazette is in regular contact with Corentin Tolisso trying to convince the Arsenal-linked midfielder to return to Lyon this summer, according to a report from Foot Mercato.
Tolisso is now a free agent after leaving Bayern Munich. The 27-year-old actually had arguably his best campaign yet for the Bavarian giants this past year. However, he decided to move on at the end of his deal.
There have been suggestions that he could be on the way to the Premier League. Reports previously listed Arsenal as admirers of the Frenchman.
And more recently, it was suggested that the Emirates may be a possible destination for the World Cup winner.
But it would appear that Lyon are on pole position to sign Tolisso. And it is a former Arsenal player who is playing his part in pushing him back towards Ligue 1.
Foot Mercato reports that Tolisso went for talks with Lyon about a return to his old side. And it is claimed that he is speaking to Lacazette on a regular basis, with the striker working to convince Tolisso to join him at Les Gones next year.

Arsenal do appear to have bigger priorities in midfield. Of course, reports have claimed that they are working on a deal for Youri Tielemans.
Meanwhile, Ruben Neves is amongst the raft of other midfielders they have been linked with.
But Tolisso is going to attract attention from all over Europe. He has struggled with injury at times. But his availability eliminates a lot of risk attached to pursuing him.
Reports have also claimed that Granit Xhaka could leave. Bayer Leverkusen want the Swiss this summer. So Arsenal may want more than one signing in this window.
They may have to be more persuasive than their former striker if they are going to go after Tolisso.
