Arsenal have been named as a possible destination for Corentin Tolisso by 90min following the news that he will leave Bayern Munich as a free agent this summer.

Tolisso has had a turbulent time at Bayern. Injury has restricted the Frenchman to just 118 appearances in five years in Bavaria. However, he has also enjoyed some success.

His form was impressive at times this season. And reports suggested that Bayern wanted to agree a new contract with the 27-year-old amid interest from Liverpool.

However, those talks have clearly not worked out. As confirmed by Fabrizio Romano on Monday, Tolisso will become a free agent in the near future.

It seems that a move to the Premier League could be on the cards. But 90min suggests that the Emirates could end up proving to be his next home.

They have named Arsenal and Manchester United as his possible destinations.

Arsenal a possible destination for Tolisso

It is not a surprise that Arsenal are potentially in the running for Tolisso. Reports towards the end of last year claimed that the Gunners were keen on the former Lyon star.

At that stage, it seemed likely that he would be allowed to leave on a free. So his form when he has featured since has potentially helped convince Arsenal that he would be a good signing.

He has played a part in Bayern winning five league titles and the Champions League. And he featured on a number of occasions as France went on to win the 2018 World Cup.

Obviously, his injury record may be a concern. But he has the potential to be an inspired addition on a free transfer.

Bayern paid around £35 million when they signed him in 2017. And Arsenal absolutely need to strengthen in midfield.

If the Gunners do make a move, it could be a risk. But it could be brilliant if a move works out.
