Arsenal are one of only two teams to have confirmed their interest in Ruben Neves, with the Manchester Evening News reporting that Barcelona have also made it clear that they want the midfielder.
Neves could well be on the move this summer. He has been outstanding for Bruno Lage’s side. And Wolves are reportedly eyeing potential replacements for the Portuguese.

Reports this month claimed that Arsenal had identified the £60 million-rated Neves as a top target ahead of the summer. Edu apparently held talks with the midfielder about a possible move to the Emirates last year.
Signing him is now a priority for Mikel Arteta. And it appears that Arsenal look to have stolen a march on many of their rivals for his signature.

According to the Manchester Evening News, just two sides have confirmed their interest in signing Neves this summer: Arsenal and Barcelona.
Meanwhile, Neves’ agents would reportedly welcome an approach from Manchester United.
Arsenal signing Ruben Neves could be a brilliant piece of business
It appears to be absolutely imperative that Arsenal strengthen in midfield this summer. The likes of Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka and Martin Odegaard have shone. And Arsenal have also benefitted from two amazing performances from Mohamed Elneny in the last two games.
But they do not have the depth they would like. And Neves is someone who would take their options to the next level.
He has been described as a ‘world-class‘ player. Remarkably, he already has over 300 appearances under his belt at the age of 25. And he has hardly missed a game for Wolves in the last few years.
He is heading into the peak years of his career. And Arsenal are seemingly determined to make sure that he spends those peak years in North London.
