Arsenal target Youri Tielemans is prepared to let his contract run down and leave Leicester City next summer.
Whether Arsenal are going to sign the Belgian international has been one of the big will they, won’t they stories of the summer so far.

The midfielder has plenty of fans at Arsenal already, and there are reports that personal terms have already been agreed.
However, Arteta appears reluctant to submit a bid for Tielemans, and his performance at The Emirates on Saturday during Leicester’s 4-2 defeat to Arsenal wasn’t up to scratch.
Tielemans prepared to let his contract run down
The latest development in the Tielemans transfer saga is more bad news for Leicester, who now look set to receive no fee for their club record signing.
Arsenal’s patience could pay off if the player is determined to join the north London club, but it would be surprising if they faced no competition for Tielemans if he became a free agent.
Clubs outside of England would also be allowed to offer Tielemans a deal in January, six months before Arsenal could officially approach him, even if personal terms have already reportedly been agreed this summer.

A lot can change in twelve months, and the start Arsenal have had this season has been very positive.
There’s no guarantee Arteta would still be keen on signing the Belgian if he doesn’t have a good season at Leicester this year.
The Gunners hold all the cards right now, and although he may demand a large signing on fee next year if he does join, it’s unlikely to match Leicester’s current £30m valuation.
