Report: Club could yet loan Spurs and Arsenal transfer target out once he completes £198k-a-week move

Paris Saint-Germain may be about to land Gianluigi Donnarumma, but perhaps that may not necessarily end the transfer hopes of Arsenal and Spurs.

According to Sky Sports, Donnarumma is set to sign a five-year deal at Parc des Princes. He arrives as a free agent after his AC Milan contract expired.

His move to the French capital looks set to disappoint a number of sides, including some from the Premier League.

Tuttosport reported this week that both Arsenal and Spurs want Donnarumma.

Celtic strike Premier Sports deal - is this the "additional value" we've been waiting for?

Understandably, the fans expressed some excitement about the links. But they may now fear that their hopes have been dashed.

However, perhaps that may not be the case just yet.

According to French outlet L’Equipe, Donnarumma could be loaned out immediately following his move.

It is noted that he is not prepared to sit on the bench in France. So a loan move could be on the cards.

Interestingly, L’Equipe claims that Roma would be front-runners if a loan move became a possibility.

But perhaps that will also encourage the likes of Spurs and Arsenal.

Spurs and Arsenal may both need new number ones in the transfer window

There are doubts over the futures of both Hugo Lloris and Bernd Leno.

Lloris recently issued a cagey response when asked about his plans.

Recent reports meanwhile, claimed that some at Arsenal believe that Leno will leave this summer.

So both clubs may be on the lookout for a new goalkeeper in this window.

Even on loan, Donnarumma is unlikely to come cheap. According to Sky Sports, he is set to earn around £198,000-a-week at PSG.

But both clubs will surely be tempted to enquire about his availability if PSG are prepared to consider a loan move.
