Arsenal have looked into a move for Paris Saint-Germain defender Thilo Kehrer this summer, according to a report from Foot Mercato.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with a number of defenders this summer. Ben White is reportedly expected to join now that the European Championships are over.

But Mikel Arteta is unlikely to stop there. There are doubts over the futures of the likes of William Saliba and Hector Bellerin.
So if White does join, it seems difficult to imagine that he will be the only defender to arrive.
And perhaps one of the players Arsenal may make a play for at some stage is Kehrer.

According to Foot Mercato, the Gunners have looked into the possibility of signing the 24-year-old this summer.
It is noted that Kehrer is keen to stay at Parc des Princes. However, the report hints that that situation could change.
PSG have added the likes of Achraf Hakimi and Sergio Ramos to their ranks this summer. And thus, a loan exit is not entirely out of the question.
Loan move for Kehrer could prove a shrewd piece of business from Arsenal
It remains to be seen if a loan move becomes possible. But if Arsenal can get a deal done, he could arguably prove to be a really shrewd signing.
Last season, Kehrer – who cost PSG £33 million – played a significant number of games at both centre-back and right-back.
But he can also play in holding midfield, slightly further up the pitch or on the left flank.
Admittedly, a loan deal would not be ideal. Losing Martin Odegaard at the end of his loan looked to be a big blow for the Gunners.
But Arsenal would be landing a Germany international with nearly 100 games for PSG under his belt.
