Report: When Ben White will join Arsenal
A report from Eurosport has shared when it is expected that Ben White will join Arsenal from Brighton.
White has been heavily linked with the Gunners for some time now. And it appeared that a breakthrough had been made.
Recent reports claimed that a £50 million bid had been accepted. Personal terms had already been agreed.
And it appears that a move could be completed in the very near future.
According to Eurosport, White is expected to join Arsenal after England complete their Euro 2020 campaign.
Of course, they have a semi-final ahead on Wednesday. And should they beat Denmark, they will contest the final on Sunday.
So perhaps White could be confirmed as an Arsenal player in the next week or so.
Big statement from Mikel Arteta when Ben White will join Arsenal
Based on various reports, it does appear that Arsenal are planning quite the overhaul of their squad this summer.
A number of players could be on their way. Meanwhile, Eurosport notes that William Saliba could follow Matteo Guendouzi to Marseille.
So spending £50 million on White would be a huge statement. He has only just finished his first season as a Premier League regular.
It does appear however, that he has the potential to justify such a large fee. He has stepped up every year so far in his career, most recently winning Brighton’s Player of the Year and being named in England’s Euro 2020 squad.
