Tottenham Hotspur have been offered the chance to sign Lyon midfielder Lucas Paqueta this summer.
One name that came up in conversation was 24-year-old Brazilian Lucas Paqueta.
Thomas revealed that Paqueta’s representatives had offered Tottenham the chance to sign the attacking playmaker: “He’s been offered to every Premier League club going Paqueta.

“I think if Spurs were determined to sign Lucas Paqueta they would have done it by now.
“He’s been available all window, and there’s been various intermediaries offering him around and trying to get him into the Premier League.
“I think that Tottenham will be looking at other, more quality options, that suit them a little bit more than Lucas Paqueta.”
Tottenham offered chance to sign Paqueta
It’s been a successful transfer window for Tottenham so far, bringing in player to improve key areas.
Ivan Perisic has already made an impact on the left-hand side, and cameos from Yves Bissouma and Richarlison have been promising.
Tottenham have been linked with attacking midfielders this summer to give Antonio Conte more central options.
Leicester City’s James Maddison has been one player the club have kept a close eye on.

However, it doesn’t appear as though Paqueta will be making a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer, despite the club being offered the opportunity to bring him in.
Paqueta’s numbers in Ligue 1 were good last season, with 18 goal contributions across all competitions.
He’s also likely to go to the World Cup this summer, having already won 33 Brazil caps.
That disruption may have counted against the 24-year-old when Tottenham were weighing up a move, who has attracted attention from Arsenal and Newcastle this summer.

It’s hard to see where a traditional attacking midfielder would fit into Conte’s system.
The Italian normally uses two, more defensive midfielders ahead of three centre-backs.
Paqueta would then possibly be shifted out wide in an unfamiliar role, or used as an alternative to Son Heung-min or Dejan Kulusevski.
His price tag may have also been an issue, with the Brazilian valued at £68m at one point this summer.
