Fabrizio Romano has just shared an update on Arsenal’s pursuit of Gabriel Jesus, also commenting on Tottenham.
Both the Gunners and Spurs have reportedly been pursuing the Manchester City star in recent months.
On Monday, Goal.com claimed that Jesus’ representatives were heading to London to meet with Arsenal in order to push through a deal.

However, Tottenham have reportedly stepped up their interest in the Brazil international in recent days.
Gianluca di Marzio recently claimed Spurs were ‘moving under the radar’ in hope of beating Arsenal to Jesus’ signature.
Romano’s latest report will come as good news for the Arsenal faithful.
The transfer guru, taking to Twitter, claimed that negotiations involving the Gunners are at a “very advanced” stage.
Meanwhile, Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain are on the sidelines, “still waiting” to see what happens.
There’s no doubt Arsenal need Jesus more than Spurs do.
The Gunners only have one senior centre-forward in their ranks, the talented yet relatively inexperienced Eddie Nketiah.
Meanwhile, Spurs have the world-class Harry Kane, with Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura able to cover at centre-forward.
Arsenal look like they’re still in pole position, but obviously until the official announcements are out, anything can happen.
City apparently want around £43million for their man, according to one report.
