Fluminense are now considering keeping reported Tottenham Hotspur target Andre beyond the January transfer window.
That’s according to Ge Globo, which claims that the Brazilian outfit are still awaiting official proposals for their star man.
Tottenham could be in the market for a new midfielder in January as they prepare for a spell without both Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma.
The duo will be heading to AFCON next month, while Bissouma will miss the next four games after picking up a red card against Nottingham Forest on Friday.
Spurs are among a host of Premier League sides who have been keeping tabs on Fluminense’s Andre.

It has previously been suggested that Andre will definitely leave Fluminense in January after missing out on a move to England over the summer.
But it seems the Brazilian giants could decide to keep hold of the midfielder until the summer.
Fluminense could to U-turn over Tottenham target Andre
Ge Globo reports that Fluminense are yet to receive an official offer for the Brazilian midfielder.
Indeed, they are now considering keeping Andre until the summer.
It’s noted that Fluminense chiefs feel they are yet to receive an official bid that matches their valuation.

Andre has been labelled a ‘special’ talent and is attracting interest from a host of top sides. The likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Fulham are all monitoring his situation closely.
It has been reported that Andre could be available for just £30 million in January, which makes him an attractive option considering his undoubted quality.
It’s no secret that Spurs will be in the market for a new centre-back following Micky van de Ven’s injury.
But it certainly wouldn’t be a surprise to see them dip into the market for a new midfielder given Sarr and Bissouma’s international commitments next month.
While turning to Andre could be seen as a risk due to his lack of experience in Europe’s top leagues, he seems to have the required attributes to thrive in England.
The 22-year-old has already earned four caps for Brazil and scooped the Copa Libertadores last term.
