Celtic’s win over Feyenoord last week was pivotal for Brendan Rodgers’ in the fact that it got that Champions League win stat off the club’s back.

Not since beating Anderlecht back in 2018 had the Hoops recorded a win in Europe’s top competition and defeating Feyenoord allows the club to put that chapter behind them.

One of the players who was heavily involved in that win, Mitchel Frame, has since disappeared from sight. Winning the corner to allow the chance to be created for Gustaf Lagerbielke’s winner, many would have thought that his fearless approach to the game would have earned the 17-year-old winger more involvement in the first team.

Apparently not. And former Celtic striker, Andy Walker, can’t believe young Frame hasn’t been involved more since.

Walker said [The Go Radio Football Show], “I thought someone like Mitchel Frame, I was so surprised to see him in the squad for the Feyenoord game.

“He actually come on for about 15-20 minutes. I thought he did well, I thought he merited another stint on the bench.

“He was nowhere to be seen either.”

Look, the youngster still has plenty of time to make his mark in the Celtic team but surely it would have been wise to still include him whilst his confidence was high?

After recently signing a new deal at the club, Frame is highly rated within Celtic and it seems he does have a bright future ahead of him.

Let’s hope that Celtic are learning from the Rocco Vata situation and have a plan to develop young Frame into a first-team player as the fans would hate to lose another talented youngster because they never saw a future at the club.
