Wolves transfer: Some fans react to hearing which international they want from Liverpool

A number of Wolves fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from Goal claiming that they are one of the teams interested in signing one Liverpool player in the transfer window.

Neco Williams could be on the move this summer. According to Goal, he is keen to leave Anfield in search of first-team football.

Liverpool are reportedly willing to let him go. But they apparently want a fee of around £10 million for the Wales international.

It does seem that plenty of clubs are interested in the 20-year-old. According to Goal, Wolves are battling the likes of Leeds, Aston Villa and Southampton for Williams.

But it would appear that several of the Wolves fans would be content if he headed elsewhere in the transfer window.

Williams has not always had the easiest time in the Liverpool first-team. But he did receive a lot of praise for his most recent display at Euro 2020.

And he has clearly impressed his Reds teammates. James Milner previously labelled him ‘fantastic’.

Nevertheless, Wolves fans are seemingly not convinced that he is someone Bruno Lage’s men need in this window.

Some would rather see the club target more proven players this summer. Others do not believe that he would be worth the £10 million fee given the options they already have…
