Myles Lewis-Skelly has played a crucial role in Arsenal qualifying for the Champions League semi-final after their 5-1 demolition job of Real Madrid over two legs.

Tasked with the responsibility of keeping Rodrygo Goes quiet, the Arsenal left-back made the job look like child’s play as the Brazilian international had little to no impact in both games.

The Spanish media raved about Lewis-Skelly’s display against Real Madrid as well as the 18-year-old looked at ease at the Santiago Bernabeu as well.

Myles Lewis-Skelly did not seem intimidated by the atmosphere whatsoever — playing his natural game by driving with the ball, taking on players and getting stuck into challenges.

Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka lauded Lewis-Skelly as he had yet another game to remember in an Arsenal shirt against Real Madrid.

How Myles Lewis-Skelly annoyed Real Madrid fans vs Arsenal

While it is difficult not to hail Lewis-Skelly and his magnificence, the Arsenal technician managed to get under Real Madrid fans’ skins during the blockbuster Champions League clash.

Lewis-Skelly was celebrating in front of Real Madrid supporters after Bukayo Saka’s goal and he was heard shouting “vamos” (let’s go in Spanish).

Los Merengues fans did not appreciate the teenager’s antics and decided to make their voices heard in protest.

But Lewis-Skelly was unbothered as he was smiling from ear to ear as Arsenal looked on the verge of beating Real Madrid during what was one of their biggest nights in Champions League history.

However, how the Englishman behaved even before a ball was kicked was eye-opening.

What Myles Lewis-Skelly was spotted doing right before Real Madrid clash

Arsenal gem Lewis-Skelly looked extremely composed against Real Madrid, to the extent that he was spotted taking videos of himself at the Santiago Bernabeu and speaking to his mother prior to the game.

Commentator Darren Fletcher said: “Lewis-Skelly looks like he’s played 300 games at the Bernabeu, doesn’t he? I watched him when he came out, he had his phone out, he was filming everything and doing a couple of videos of himself.”

Rio Ferdinand added: “Ally [McCoist] and I were watching him, he was on a call to his mum, ‘Look mum I’m at the Bernabeu,’ just chilling.”

Lewis-Skelly is a superstar in the making and he oozes confidence — evidenced by how he performed for Arsenal while also managing to rattle the Real Madrid fans.

It’s safe to say that the Gunners have a special player and character on their hands.
