Arsenal have made it into the semi-finals of the Champions League after beating Real Madrid.

The Gunners smashed five past the reigning European champions over two legs. Mikel Arteta’s men were definitely the better side in both games and deserved to go through.

Declan Rice won the Player of the Match award in both legs, while Bukayo Saka was hugely impressive in the two games as well.

But, the two Arsenal superstars have been blown away by another player’s performance for the Gunners against Real Madrid – Myles Lewis-Skelly.

Lewis-Skelly is having a dream season at Arsenal.

The teenager was still playing for the academy side this time last year, but he is now Arteta’s first-choice left-back ahead of more experienced options like Oleksandr Zinchenko, Riccardo Calafiori and Kieran Tierney.

Lewis-Skelly has been fantastic since he got his opportunity at Arsenal, and his performances against Real Madrid in the two legs were sensational.

After his display at the Santiago Bernabeu, which is one of the most difficult away grounds for any player, let alone an 18-year-old, Lewis-Skelly has been earning plenty of plaudits.

After the youngster took to Instagram to celebrate his victory, many of his teammates and fans showed him love in the replies.

An amazed Rice wrote: “We’re witnessing levels!”

Saka was blown away by how good he was at such a young age. He said: “18 years old!”

Myles Lewis-Skelly’s stats vs Real Madrid in the second leg

Lewis-Skelly had a fine game against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

The teenager was arguably better in the first leg compared to the second, but he was more than good enough to help Arsenal beat the Galacticos at the Bernabeu.

During his time on the pitch, Lewis-Skelly had 45 touches of the ball and completed 16 of his 19 attempted passes, maintaining a healthy 84 per cent passing accuracy.

He completed all of his dribbles, won nine of his 11 attempted duels and wasn’t dribbled past by an opponent a single time in the entire game. (Sofascore)

Lewis-Skelly is getting better and better each week, and we are convinced that he is going to be a star in the coming years.
