Morgan Rogers has been making his feelings clear about Aston Villa’s latest deals to sign both Jadon Sancho and Harvey Elliott.
The Villans completed some astute business on transfer deadline day, signing both Jadon Sancho and Harvey Elliott from Premier League rivals.
Sancho arrives from Manchester United on loan, and he will be hoping for another successful spell away from Old Trafford, having looked good at Chelsea last term.
Meanwhile, Elliott joined Villa on loan with an obligation to buy for around £35 million, in a deal which could prove to be a bargain.
Morgan Rogers has now been making his feelings clear about the pair during his time away with the England team.

Morgan Rogers is delighted with Jadon Sancho and Harvey Elliott’s arrivals
In a recent interview, Rogers praised the signing of Elliott and Sancho, and behind the scenes, he is believed to be excited by the duo’s arrival at Villa Park.
Matt Law claims that he’s been hearing positive things coming from Rogers about Villa’s summer business, especially with the arrival of two England stars.
Rogers, who Villa value at £100m, is believed to be close with Elliott, having played alongside him for England’s youth teams.
Law told All Villa No Filler: “I cover England, and there’s been some positive noises out of the England camp about playing with Elliott and Sancho.
“You can see that those young English lads form a nice group and bounce off each other quite nicely, I think that’s important too, because Rogers has played like a drain in the first three games for Villa.
“His big mate Jacob Ramsey’s just left the club and it feels like he just needs to refocus a little bit, so having Elliott and Sancho around there, two young, English lads he knows from the England set up, especially Harvey, I think, that should help him.”
It’s been a slow start to the 2025/26 campaign for the midfielder, but the signings of Elliott and Sancho should be a key boost for him.
Morgan Rogers and Harvey Elliott are undefeated as England teammates
Rogers and Elliott are actually undefeated as England teammates, having played on eight occasions together.
The duo have played for England U-17 and U-21 as teammates, failing to win just two games, with draws against Germany and the Czech Republic.

Elliott will have his chance to make his debut for his new club on Saturday when they travel away to his former rivals Everton.
