'We should take that', 'Perfect': Some Arsenal fans react to hearing PL boss loves £20m Gunners player
A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from The Sun over the weekend claiming that Patrick Vieira wants Eddie Nketiah at Crystal Palace.
Arsenal look to performing some serious surgery on their squad this summer. Nuno Tavares is through the door. Albert Sambi Lokonga and Ben White may reportedly soon follow.
But of course, a key part of that process is moving on some of the players within the squad. Some have already gone. And more will surely follow.
One of those who may be set to leave is Nketiah. It was recently claimed that he had not accepted a new contract with his current terms expiring next summer.
And perhaps, Selhurst Park may prove to be the striker’s destination. According to The Sun, Vieira loves the 22-year-old.
Arsenal reportedly want £20 million for Nketiah. And that has prompted plenty of Gunners fans to laud Vieira on social media.
‘Win win’: Arsenal fans react as Palace eye Nketiah
They believe that getting such a fee for the forward would be outstanding business given his contract situation.
Unfortunately, the youngster has struggled to really kick on in the last 18 months. And some believe that the time is right to sell. There has been a suggestion that Palace would be the perfect move.
With that in mind, here is how some of the fans have reacted to the reports concerning Nketiah…
Vieira still supporting Arsenal all these years. A true legend!

Good move for the lad as I really can’t see him getting much playing time with us.
