Bayern Munich want to make a bid for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane next summer, according to Christian Falk.

The Sport Bild reporter suggests that Bayern hope Kane won’t sign a contract extension this season.

Kane’s current deal runs out in 2024, and if he doesn’t sign a new deal this season, Spurs will be vulnerable to losing Kane.

Every transfer window brings about speculation over Kane’s future, but Tottenham’s number ten remains committed to the club.

Chris Sutton has previously stated that he can’t imagine Kane joining some of Spurs’ Premier League rivals.

A move abroad would therefore be more likely, but Tottenham are likely to do everything in their power to get Kane to sign a new deal.

Antonio Conte stated earlier this week that this is now the ‘perfect time’ for Kane to sign a new deal.

If Bayern Munich are sniffing around the 29-year-old, they’ll need to move quickly to commit Kane’s future to Spurs.

Bayern want to make Kane bid

Harry Kane has already found his shooting boots this season, netting five times in his first six games.

His latest goal secured three points against Fulham, and maintained Tottenham’s unbeaten start to the season.

Kane has only ever left Spurs on loan in his career, and there was a time last season where it looked like he might leave.

Manchester City were linked with a move for the England forward, but a move never materialised.

Kane is arguably playing some of the best football of his career under Antonio Conte.

The Italian manager has built a system around Kane’s incredible goal scoring and playmaking abilities.

He’s got plenty of time to convince Kane to stay before Bayern plan on making a bid.

But Kane may not have many more opportunities to leave the club for a top-level team.

If Bayern want to make a bid for Kane, they could persuade him that now is the right time to try something new.
