Chris Sutton says he just can’t see Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane leaving to join Arsenal or Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.

Writing in his latest column for the Daily Mail, the former Blackburn striker spoke about Kane’s contract situation at Spurs.

The 29-year-old is into the last two-years of his contract with Tottenham and Antonio Conte recently said he’s urged the club to hand him a new deal.

Kane has been in excellent form for Spurs once again this season, highlighting his importance to the team.

Sutton can’t see Kane leaving

And Sutton thinks there are no Premier League clubs that are a realistic option for Kane at this moment in time.

“He could use this to reaffirm his long-term loyalty to Tottenham and put all that pesky transfer speculation behind him,” Sutton writes for the Daily Mail.

“Kane has two years left currently and if he was to leave before that, where would he go?

“City isn’t going to happen, not now they have Erling Haaland. Liverpool isn’t a likely destination, and I’d be amazed if Kane was willing to go full Sol Campbell in 2001 by leaving Tottenham for Arsenal.

“Kane agreeing to hop on the Conte fun bus would be a major boost to Tottenham.

“They’re on the up and I don’t see a downside to him agreeing a new deal.”

The England captain was certainly unsettled last summer as he was linked with a move to Manchester City.

Just a year ago, Nuno Espirito Santo was in charge at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Kane seemed set on leaving.

But now Conte has given the club a huge lift and the future looks bright in North London.

It seems highly unlikely that Kane will be leaving anytime soon and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him put pen to paper in the coming weeks.

Any other options Kane may have had seem to be off the table. Jurgen Klopp has added Darwin Nunez to his Liverpool side while City have signed Erling Haaland.

Even if City and Liverpool hadn’t signed strikers, Kane seems to be loving life under Conte.
