Erling Haaland seems the favourite to win the Golden Boot this season, but Jose Enrique is confident that it will be Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane.

Both Manchester City and Spurs have gotten off to a good start in the Premier League this season, and their respective strikers are one of the biggest reasons why. They will remain key throughout the campaign, but Enrique is confident that Kane will end the season as the more prolific goalscorer.

After four games in the Premier League this season, Haaland leads the charts with six goals, while Kane, Rodrigo and Aleksandar Mitrovic are joint-second with four.

There’s still a long way to go this season, but Haaland already looks like he’s the favourite to score more goals than any other player in the country in this campaign.

However, Enrique is adamant that it will be Kane.

The Spaniard feels that the Tottenham striker now looks fitter than ever under Antonio Conte, who has transformed Kane, all the players at Spurs and the whole club in general.

Enrique wrote on his Instagram Story: “Harry Kane Golden Boot this season – I believe he’s going to win. Under Conte, he looks fitter than ever!”

Kane really does look fitter than ever at the moment and we aren’t surprised.

After Conte’s gruelling pre-season training sessions, everybody at Tottenham looks a lot better than they did at the end of last season, and that is really exciting for Spurs fans to see.

Even though it’s still early days, Tottenham have a lot to be happy about. They still have to improve in numerous areas, but they have looked good in flashes, and after a long time, their squad depth is excellent.

Kane, however, will remain the main man, and if he continues to average a goal every game, Spurs will definitely win more often than not, and he will pip Haaland, Mo Salah, Gabriel Jesus and the rest to win the Golden Boot.
