Transfer round-up: £65m star rejects Arsenal, Tottenham plot PL swap deal

Everton forward Richarlison is of interest to numerous clubs this summer including Arsenal. However, a report has now claimed that the Brazilian has rejected the Gunners. The £65 million-rated forward reportedly prefers a move to Tottenham or Chelsea instead. (UOL)

Just like how Richarlison fancies a move to Tottenham, Spurs like him too. Antonio Conte is looking for a new attacker this summer, and the Everton man is on the wish list. The North Londoners are now reportedly willing to include Harry Winks and Lucas Moura in a swap deal to bring his asking price down. (Telegraph)

Transfer latest: Lautaro Martinez, Scamacca, Ekitike and more

Lautaro Martinez has been linked with a move to both Arsenal and Tottenham for about a year now, but it looks like he’s only willing to join one North London club – Spurs. The Argentine apparently has no interest in a move to the Emirates. (Dean Jones on Football Terrace)

The Newcastle United-Hugo Ekitike transfer saga is not finalised yet, but there’s good news for Magpies fans. Howe and co are now reportedly confident of wrapping up a deal after holding encouraging talks with the striker and his camp. (Daily Mail)

Gianluigi Scamacca has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal, but the Gunners aren’t the only foreign club keen to sign him. PSG’s interest has been reported already, but it now looks like Borussia Dortmund have joined the race as well. BVB want the Italian to become Erling Haaland’s successor. (CalcioMercato)

Tottenham are surprisingly said to be interested in Udinese star Gerard Deulofeu, who was previously in the Premier League with Everton and Watford. The Italian outfit are reportedly prepared to sell him for just £15.4 million this summer. (Corriere dello Sport print edition – page 17)

And finally, Arsenal technical director Edu Gaspar has told Bernd Leno he can leave the club this summer. The German will enter the final year of his contract soon and with Aaron Ramsdale firmly established as the club’s number one, it looks like there’s no place for the 30-year-old anymore. (Standard)
