The future of Bryan Gil at Tottenham Hotspur is in doubt because of Timo Werner.
That is according to two different sources, which have claimed that Tottenham could offload Gil now that they are about to sign Werner.
So, what has been reported about Tottenham Hotspur, Bryan Gil and Timo Werner? Let’s take a look.
Bryan Gil could leave Tottenham Hotspur after Timo Werner arrival
Well, Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of signing former Chelsea forward Timo Werner on loan from RB Leipzig until the end of the season.
The Daily Mail has reported that former Chelsea forward Werner will undergo a medical at Tottenham on Tuesday.

Spanish news outlet EstadioDeportivo has claimed that Tottenham could offload Gil in the January transfer window after signing Werner. The report has noted how hard it is going to be for the 22-year-old to get regular playing time, especially after Son Heung-min returns from the AFC Asian Cup.
Football.London has also reported that the arrival of Werner at Tottenham might open the door for Gil to head out on loan.
There is interest in the 22-year-old Spain international winger from Serie A Fiorentina, according to Sky Sport Italia.
My View: No future at Tottenham Hotspur for Bryan Gil
In my opinion, Bryan Gil does not have a future at Tottenham Hotspur. I do not see the Spanish youngster establishing himself in the first team at the North London club.
Gil has been on the books of Spurs since 2021, but he has already been out on loan at Valencia and Sevilla. And he could be going out on loan again this month.
The winger is struggling to get into the Spurs team. He has made only two starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League so far this season. Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou clearly does not fancy him.
Gil has made only 21 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. He has given just one assist in those games.
In September 2021, former Tottenham player Graham Roberts backed Gil to be a “superstar” and compared him to Spurs legend Osvaldo Ardiles, but things have not worked out that way for the youngster.
