Tottenham and Newcastle are among the teams monitoring Christian Eriksen ahead of a potential summer move and it’s safe to say he is impressing at Brentford.

Eriksen’s arrival at Brentford caught a lot of people off guard. But since he signed, the Bees have enjoyed a remarkable rise in form and have secured their status in the Premier League for another season. Of course, his progress and form is being monitored by clubs higher up.

Tottenham are paying close attention, while Aston Villa and Newcastle are also thought to be super keen on bringing Eriksen in as well.

And according to The Telegraph, Eriksen has been blowing people away behind the scenes at Brentford. The report claims that a club source has branded the Dane as ‘exceptional’ since his arrival. It notes how he has gone above and beyond to get to know staff and ways of working, and that he is display ‘spectacular professionalism’ around the training ground.

Certainly, you can see in how Eriksen and his Brentford teammates are playing that this is the case. For those clubs looking on, these are positive signs. For all the good work a player can do on the pitch, sometimes being a class act off it is just as important. Eriksen, then, seems to be just that.
