Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has now been heavily praising a player Tottenham Hotspur have targeted recently.
Ange Postecoglou’s side have been very busy in the summer, and now in January, and it seems as if they could still add one more signing before the deadline.

If so, it seems most likely to be one of Conor Gallagher, Antonio Nusa or Jacob Ramsey.
All difficult deals to conclude, but a testament to the ambition Daniel Levy and his side are now showing.
That being said, there were a few different names that Spurs chased in the summer – perhaps ones they will return to when a deal is more achievable.
Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze was one, and after watching him in a 3-2 against his side last night, Chris Wilder would surely understand why Tottenham were interested.
Eze enjoyed a phenomenal performance scoring two goals of the highest order.
Both were assisted by the similarly impressive Michael Olise, who could also be destined for a top Premier League side.

Wilder was speaking via journalist Sam Dean after the game and thought the duo would now hold a very hefty price tag if a team like Tottenham game knocking.
He said: “Those boys can destroy your game plan through individual brilliance.

“They decided a tight game. That is what you are up against. I am not sure Palace would accept £50m for them. We could have done with Olise having a few more days off.”
Of course, it’s bound to be another performance that Postecoglou and his scouts will have taken note of.
In truth, Spurs may well have liked to add Eze this month, but much like they were told with a move for Marc Guehi, Palace won’t sell their crucial players mid season.
Therefore, it really could be interest that is revisited in the summer.
As Chris Wilder points out, Palace have a host of players who would appeal for a club like Tottenham, and all of Guehi, Eze and Olise would be welcome.
That being said, there could be a lesser-linked player that could prove transformative for Spurs.
