Amid all of the Tottenham Hotspur transfer speculation right now, Ange Postecoglou’s side have rarely been linked with a striker.
Heading into the second half of the season, it seems that Spurs will switch between Son Heung-min and Richarlison as their number nine, with Timo Werner ready to play centrally if needed.

Alejo Veliz is also ready on the sidelines, however, the youngster still has a lot of progress to make.
Postecoglou will surely be happy with his options at striker, he opted to take this route following Harry Kane’s Tottenham departure.
But with a view to the summer, it seems Spurs can have a little more ambition.
The signing of a top goal-scorer will surely be a priority, someone who can help Son rather than replace him.
It wouldn’t be too surprising if Richarlison did still leave the club in the future despite his good start under Ange, he’s not always been considered a typical profile for the Australian.
Similarly, there’s no guarantee that Spurs will look to sign Werner permanently – there’s clearly decisions to be made.
But whilst Tottenham consider their next move, they should now be thinking about a striker who’s already scored 24 goals this season.
Viktor Gyokeres could be the perfect new striker for Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham
Since leaving Coventry City in the summer, ‘unbelievable‘ Viktor Gyokeres has been in incredible form for Sporting Lisbon.
The 25-year-old has been linked with so many top English clubs, including Arsenal and Chelsea, but it seems Spurs haven’t considered a move just yet.

But perhaps they should.
Although Gyokeres will come with a lofty price tag, he could prove to be a brilliant focal point for Spurs.
The Swedish striker proved his credentials in the Championship last year, and has now continued to progress whilst in Portugal.
And given his steep growth curve of late, Postecoglou would surely be able to get even more out of the striker at Tottenham.
Gyokeres is a more reliable finisher than Richarlison, and probably does have a higher ceiling at this point.
Perhaps Spurs will have other targets in mind, they might even think they can win the race for Ivan Toney.
But there’s no doubt that Gyokeres would be an incredibly smart buy for a top club in England.
It’s almost a surprise that Tottenham haven’t been linked with the striker yet, but fans may be in luck if that soon changes.
