Reported Tottenham and Arsenal target, Dusan Vlahovic, has been tipped for worldwide success by someone who knows him all too well.

His Serbian teammate, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, has been speaking about the striker this weekend and in a show of respect, has branded Vlahovic as an ‘outstanding’ talent.

Vlahovic is being touted around Europe at the moment and is expected to leave Fiorentina in the coming windows. Tottenham have once again been linked with him this weekend.

And speaking ahead of this weekend’s clash against Portugal for Serbia, Milinkovic-Savic has raved about Vlahovic.

Good? He’s not good, he’s outstanding. I’m quite certain the stats would back that up, considering his age. However, I think he’s the type of player who still gets annoyed when he doesn’t play well, so he’s definitely going to get better and get the world talking about him. Which is something I like about him,” the Serbian midfielder told FIFA.

“In both training and matches, he never takes it lightly when he misses a chance, so he has a hunger for scoring goals and winning. I like how he wants to prove himself, so I think he’s bound to become one of the greats.”

Vlahovic is certainly doing his reputation no harm whatsoever recently. His 21 goals last season have been backed up well already this term. He also scored and assisted in the 4-0 Serbian win over Qatar a few nights back.

TBR’s View: More praise for Vlahovic for Arsenal and Spurs to note

This is high praise indeed from Milinkovic-Savic. It’s obvious the Serbian star knows full well his country has a serious talent on its hands in Vlahovic.

For Arsenal and Spurs, it’s yet more evidence to add to the profile of what is clearly one of the top young forwards in Europe.

All eyes will be on Portugal this evening. If Vlahovic can impress against Ronaldo and his teammates, then those looking on from North London might just start to scramble quickly to get the funds ready for January.
