Tottenham Hotspur beat Juventus and Inter Milan to the signing of defender Destiny Udogie.
That’s according to his agent Ferdinando Guarino, who spoke to SpazioInter.it
Udogie was approached by the Italian clubs in the summer, and had ‘some talks’ with the Champions League teams.
However, Udogie rejected Juventus and Inter in order to join Antonio Conte’s Tottenham.

Another agent, Stefano Antonelli previously told Tuttomercatoweb that Tottenham beat Juventus for two reasons.
The agent revealed that Spurs were able to spend more than the Italian clubs in the summer.
His loan move back to Udinese was also an important part of the deal.
Udogie rejected Juventus for Tottenham
Speaking to SpazioInter.it, Guarino said: “Several teams have taken an interest in Udogie, including from Italy.
“We had some talks with Inter and Juve, for example, but then when Tottenham’s opportunity arose it was difficult not to seize it.”
Tottenham will be over the moon Udogie rejected Juventus after his start to this season.
The 19-year-old wing back has already scored twice for Udinese, and started all-but-one of their games this season.
It’s no coincidence that Udinese lost the only match the ‘exciting’ Udogie didn’t feature in.

He’s also been named on the shortlist for Tuttosport’s Golden Boy award.
Despite being 19, he’s already a regular for Italy’s under-21s, and was ‘one of the best players on the pitch’ against England.
Udogie’s attributes make him the perfect wing-back in an Antonio Conte system.
Always on the front foot and keen to link up with attackers, Udogie would work brilliantly with the likes of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.
Tottenham fans will have to wait until next season to see Udogie in a Spurs shirt.
However, if he can live up to the hype around him, Udogie will absolutely be worth the wait.
