Fabrizio Romano has provided a fresh update on Tottenham Hotspur’s pursuit of Destiny Udogie.
Spurs have been closing in on the Udinese full-back over the past few days.
Earlier today, several outlets including Sky Sports and the Evening Standard claimed that Tottenham had agreed a deal over Udogie.

Spurs will reportedly sign the 19-year-old for an initial £15million, which could rise to £20million with add-ons.
In addition, Tottenham will loan Udogie back to Udinese for the 2022-23 campaign, added the reports.
Now, Romano has claimed that the player will pen a five-year deal with Spurs ahead of arriving in June next year.
In addition, Tottenham are “prepared to schedule medical tests” for Udogie “in the coming days”.
Afterwards, he will return to Udinese where he’ll continue to play for them on loan.
Udogie is set to become Tottenham’s seventh signing of the summer transfer window.
Richarlison, Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic, Djed Spence, Clement Lenglet and Fraser Forster have joined Spurs in the past few weeks.
Tottenham have done superbly to land some great first-team ready players this summer.
However, Spurs have also done well to snap up some top talents who look set for a huge future.
Last year, Tottenham landed Pape Matar Sarr, and now, they look set to land Udogie.
Breaking the Lines described the Italian as an ‘exciting prospect’ and Gabriele Cioffi has deemed him ‘extraordinary‘.
