Sky Sports journalist Paul Gilmour has shared an update on Conor Gallagher’s future at Chelsea amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Spurs throughout the January window, with Ange Postecoglou said to be a huge admirer of the midfielder.
Tottenham were even backed to make a deadline-day move for Conor Gallagher just yesterday.
But it looks as if Gallagher will remain at Chelsea beyond today’s deadline, with Paul Gilmour sharing the latest on his future on Sky Sports News this morning.

Gallagher set to stay at Chelsea amid Spurs interest
Speaking on Sky Sports News, Gilmour shared an update on Gallagher’s future live from Stamford Bridge on Thursday morning.
The journalist claims that Gallagher looks set to stay at Stamford Bridge, despite plenty of talk surrounding his future in west London.
“Apart from Broja, we talked about Conor Gallagher throughout this window,” he said. “It looks like he’s going to be staying put at Chelsea.
“Just falling into line with the way this window has gone so far. But certainly, no shortage of interest in some of Chelsea’s players.”

It shouldn’t come as a massive surprise to hear that Gallagher is set to stay at Chelsea beyond tonight’s deadline.
The Englishman has been a key player under Mauricio Pochettino this term and has stepped up as captain in Reece James’ absence.
If Spurs do decide to firm up their interest in Gallagher, it seems more likely to happen in the summer, rather than the final hours of the January window.
Gallagher will have just one year left on his current deal come the summer and Chelsea may be in a position where they are forced to sell.
