Romano shares exciting news regarding Arsenal and Trossard
Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Leandro Trossard from Brighton.
The Gunners have quickly turned their attention to other targets after they missed out on Mykhaylo Mudryk.
Earlier on Thursday, Fabrizio Romano reported that Arsenal had opened talks with the Seagulls over Trossard.
“Arsenal have opened talks to sign Leandro Trossard from Brighton,” he wrote on Twitter.
“Negotiations are advanced with official bid ready for permanent move.
“Personal terms already agreed — talks will continue to get deal done soon.”
Now, Romano has just shared another Trossard to Arsenal update, the Gunners inching ever closer to a deal.
Crucially, he said all of the 28-year-old’s other suitors have been told that he has made his decision.
“Leandro Trossard has accepted all the conditions offered by Arsenal on his contract,” announced Romano.
“All other teams interested have been informed of his decision.
“Personal terms are 100% agreed.
“The clubs are expected to complete the agreement very, very soon as revealed today.”
Trossard is a great shout for Arsenal.
He has previously been described as an ‘unreal‘, ‘magnificent‘ player. And clearly he has bags of talent.
Trossard is also Premier League-ready, can go straight into the XI, and can play across the front line.
Better still, reports have claimed his price tag is around £25million. That’s less than a third of Mudryk.
At 28, Trossard is in his prime years and also has plenty of experience.
With Arsenal leading the table and hoping to clinch their first title since 2004, this will be crucial.
Now, it looks as though it won’t be long before the official announcements come out. Fingers crossed.
