Fabrizio Romano has taken to Twitter to suggest that Tottenham Hotspur are making progress in agreeing personal terms with Richarlison, with talks with Everton over a fee to continue this week.
Of course, Richarlison looks to be the name at the top of Spurs’ wishlist. Reports claimed Antonio Conte’s men have already bid £100 million for both the forward and Everton teammate Anthony Gordon.

The Toffees have no intention of selling Gordon. But it does seem that there is scope for Richarlison to make the move to North London.
And with Chelsea pursuing Raphinha, reports have suggested that the path is clear for Spurs to make their move for the Everton star.

There is still work to be done before Tottenham agree a fee for the forward. But Romano believes that they are getting closer to agreeing terms with the player.
Here is what Romano posted…
Tottenham making progress in Richarlison talks
It would help Everton to agree a fee for Richarlison – who has been labelled ‘special‘ – in the coming days. Their financial situation means that selling him before July would do Frank Lampard’s men a big favour.
They are reportedly determined to not let Richarlison leave on the cheap. Their asking price is said to be £60 million. But they will also have a figure in mind which represents a good compromise.
Spurs’ task is presumably to offer that amount. And it will help their cause that they are making progress with agreeing personal terms.
Hopefully for all parties, a resolution may be just around the corner.
