Report: Anthony Gordon happy at Everton amid Tottenham bid reports
Anthony Gordon is happy at Everton and comfortable with the club rejecting any offers that come in this summer amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur, according to a report from I News.
Gordon’s future has suddenly become a key talking point. Reports on Monday suggested that Spurs had made the 21-year-old a target for this window.
Initially, it appeared that the Toffees may be open to selling at a low price. It was claimed that offers of £25 million could be accepted. However, unsurprisingly, it seems that it will not be that easy for Tottenham.
The Athletic reported that Everton would not listen to any swap bid for Gordon with Frank Lampard keen on signing Harry Winks. And I News have now provided a further update.
They report that no bids will be considered for Gordon. And the attacking midfielder is more than happy to stay, and comfortable with the fact that no offers will be accepted.

Spurs fans may have suspected that their pursuit of Gordon may not be successful. Everton are going to be wary of letting all of their best players go in one window.
Selling Richarlison would give the club the room to make a number of signings.
Gordon’s value however should grow in the coming years. And thus, it would not be a deal that would necessarily make a lot of sense for Everton.
It is a setback for Tottenham. Reports on Tuesday claimed that Conte’s men had offered £100 million for both Richarlison and Gordon. That says a lot about how highly they rate both players.
A deal for Richarlison may be possible. But Gordon – who Lampard has described as ‘amazing‘ – is going nowhere.
