Fabrizio Romano has claimed on his Twitch channel that Spurs are in contact with the agents of Dusan Vlahovic as they consider a move for the forward this summer.
Vlahovic has been linked with a transfer to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for much of the summer.
Of course, Harry Kane has been heavily linked with a move away. But it does seem that Fabio Paratici needs at least one new striker whether their talisman stays or goes.
It was reported in June that Spurs were one of the sides Vlahovic had offers from. La Viola meanwhile, value the starlet at around £50.9 million (€60 million).
And it appears that they are stepping up their interest in the 21-year-old.
According to Romano, Tottenham are in contact with his agents. Interestingly, the journalist added that they are yet to start speaking with Fiorentina.

Of course, Kane is dominating the headlines.
But landing Vlahovic at some stage would be another superb piece of business.
Clearly, there are big hurdles ahead. Fiorentina are not going to let Vlahovic leave on the cheap.
But if they can bring him to North London, it could be the icing on the cake in what is threatening to be a very encouraging window.
