It is no secret that Harry Kane wanted to leave Tottenham Hotspur last summer and Spurs fans are waiting to see if he’ll demand to do the same at the end of this season.

The Englishman has been Spurs’ best player over the last six years. He’s one of the best strikers in world football, but unfortunately for him and Tottenham, they haven’t been able to get their hands on any silverware.

That’s the biggest reason why Kane wanted to leave last summer and Manchester City tried extremely hard to get a deal done. However, Daniel Levy stood firm and refused to sanction a move.

The summer transfer window is only a few months away now and the saga could continue. But, Daniel Levy has a great chance of keeping hold of his star man again.

What Harry Kane has demanded from Tottenham chief Daniel Levy

According to The Sun, Kane has made it clear to Levy and the Spurs board that he wants to see them back Antonio Conte in the summer transfer window.

It is claimed that the England captain wants assurances about the club’s ambition in the next window before he makes a decision on his own future at Tottenham.

Kane is reportedly much happier now than he was in last summer’s transfer window. He feels that Conte is the man to help him win a trophy at Spurs, but it will not be possible if he’s not backed by Levy and the board.

If Tottenham don’t match his ambitions, the report claims that he’ll look for a way out of the club again in the summer.

Spurs made a massive statement by appointing Conte as their manager a few months ago. The Italian is a serial winner and if there’s anyone who can end Tottenham’s trophy drought, it’s him.

However, Conte is not a magician, he needs help. He needs the players who are right for his system and Spurs don’t have that at the moment, even after signing Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski last month.

Kane is right to do what he’s doing. If the board cannot guarantee that they’ll back Conte in the summer, he’s better off moving to Manchester City where he’s almost guaranteed to win trophies.

It’s now in Levy’s hands. If he backs Conte, he gets to keep Kane, but if he doesn’t, the Englishman may line up for a different club against Tottenham next season.
