The Hammers confirmed the signing of the 6 ft 5 Italian forward last night, but David Moyes’ attention has quickly turned to improving the squad further before his side’s opening match against Manchester City.
The Daily Mail report that Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic is one of West Ham’s next targets.

The 29-year-old was pivotal in Frankfurt’s Europa League winning campaign last season, and shares an agent with Scamacca, which could make any negotiations smoother going forward.
En route to that aforementioned European success, Kostic actually broke West Ham hearts, as he was a key part of the Frankfurt side who dumped the Hammers out in the semi-finals.
All could be forgiven, though, if he does turn up at the London Stadium, as his devilish delivery from out wide could quickly endear him to Hammers fans.
Two new signings could go hand-in-hand for West Ham
Alongside Scamacca and the injured Aguerd, West Ham have also made goalkeeper Alphonse Areola’s loan move from PSG a permanent deal, and brought in Swansea midfielder Flynn Downes.
David Moyes reportedly had doubts about bringing Kostic to the London Stadium, however it seems the left-sided player could now be brought in strengthen that flank.

The Serbian recorded seven goals and fourteen assists in the Bundesliga and Europa League combined last season, playing as a very attacking wing-back.
Moyes would likely need to play three centre-backs in order to accommodate a player like Kostic, and with Aguerd now unavailable for the foreseeable future, you can see why these two new signings would go hand-in-hand.
