West Ham United now want to buy Ukrainian midfielder Ruslan Malinovskyi from Italian Serie A outfit Atalanta.
Tutto Atalanta claim that David Moyes has an interest in the 29-year-old after three defeats to kick off the Premier League season.
But there is competition from across London in the shape of bitter rivals Tottenham, who are also reported to be interested.
That said, it seems like Spurs are more interested in a loan swoop for the midfielder, which does not suit Atalanta as much.

West Ham want Malinovskyi
From that point of view, the fact that West Ham are interested in buying him could work in their favour in the transfer chase.
But Spurs could organise a swap deal involving Japhet Tanganga, who has plenty of interest in his services this summer, including from Atalanta.
And it has been claimed by Fabrizio Romano that Malinovskyi is dreaming of a switch to Spurs, where he would of course get to play in the Champions League.
“It’s true that Ruslan Malinovskyi dreams of Tottenham,” he said.
“He would love to join Tottenham, so on player side the message is pretty clear. But the only club that’s made an official proposal to Atalanta is Marseille.
“A swap deal with Cengiz Under. But Atalanta’s side it’s a no to current conditions. So no agreement with Marseille as of now, let’s see if Tottenham will decide to jump in.”
The “dazzling” midfielder with a “thunderous” left foot has 49 caps for Ukraine and set-piece prowess which could appeal to Moyes, potentially sparking a London transfer tussle.
