His contract expires next year and he is understood to be open to a new challenge. The World Cup winner has been at Spurs for sometime but has received some criticism when he has played this season.

Hugo Lloris offered new contract that would treble his salary

Saudi Arabia are trying to recruit various huge footballers to join their domestic football league. We have already seen Cristiano Ronaldo head there.

What they have over clubs across Europe is huge wealth. They are able to offer huge contracts in which the players can get huge salaries.

Many have praised the star, including Ryan Mason who called Lloris “one of the best in the world“. It is no shock to see him the latest linked to Saudi Arabia.

The “magnificent” goalkeeper will no doubt go down in history as a Spurs legend. It would no be a shock to see him accept this huge deal.

With Lloris now 36 years-old, the deal could benefit both parties. He can finish his career on a healthy salary and Spurs can free up some wages to bring in a younger goalkeeper.
