Report: Tottenham now in advanced negotiations for Richarlison
Tottenham Hotspur are now in advanced negotiations over a summer move for Richarlison, according to a report from the Daily Mirror.
Richarlison looks increasingly likely to be on the move away from Everton in this window. He played a key role in keeping the Toffees in the Premier League this past season.
And his form has not gone unnoticed. Reports claimed Tottenham hoped to sign the Brazilian for £50 million. Everton meanwhile, want £65 million for the 25-year-old.
He has reportedly told Arsenal that he does not want to move to the Emirates this summer. And with that, Antonio Conte’s men found themselves on pole position for his signature.
In fact, the Daily Mirror is now reporting that Spurs are now in advanced negotiations for Richarlison. And it is suggested that the fee could be about the £50 million mark.
Tottenham in advanced negotiations for Richarlison
Tottenham are clearly in no mood to mess around in the market this summer. They have already brought in Fraser Forster and Ivan Perisic. And a deal for Yves Bissouma appears to be moving closer.
Bissouma will reportedly undergo a medical this week. So Spurs look set to have three smart signings through the door with only £25 million spent in transfer fees.
That leaves plenty in the coffers for Tottenham to push the boat in the remaining weeks of the window. And it seems that that boat will be pushed out for Richarlison.
There is certainly a special talent in there. He has now scored 48 Premier League goals during his career. And Everton would have surely been relegated without him this past year.
Stan Collymore suggested that he could be ‘brilliant‘ for Tottenham. It seems a move to North London is edging closer.
